The short version
Logbook Drive collects no data. There are no servers and no accounts. Everything you record stays on your device, and you alone decide where — if anywhere — it goes.
1. Information we collect
None. Logbook Drive does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We have no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
2. Where your data lives
All the information you enter — driver names, driving sessions, hours, conditions, and recorded GPS routes — is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
3. Location & GPS
When you record a drive, the app uses your device's location to map the route and calculate distance. This location data is used solely to build that session on your device. It is not sent anywhere, stored on any server, or shared with anyone. It remains part of your local logbook.
4. You control where your data goes
Logbook Drive lets you export your logbook as a backup file or a CSV report. When you do this, you choose the destination — saving to Files, AirDrop, email, or any app you select through the standard iOS share sheet. Once it leaves the app, that copy is governed by wherever you sent it.
- We never automatically upload or sync your data.
- Exports happen only when you initiate them.
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.
5. Children's privacy
Logbook Drive is designed for families, including teenage learner drivers. Because the app collects no personal information and transmits nothing off the device, there is no data about anyone — including minors — for us to access, store, or share.
6. Third parties
There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics providers embedded in Logbook Drive. The only external service involved is Apple's own iOS sharing system, which you invoke manually when exporting — and only to the destination you pick.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since the app collects no data, any future changes will simply clarify our continued commitment to keeping it that way.
